Hi, I’m Oliver.

I build intelligent systems and software that solve real-world problems, with a particular interest in AI, machine learning and agentic systems.

Oliver Shakespeare

About

I’m an AI engineer and software developer with a background in electronic and computer engineering. I enjoy building products that combine artificial intelligence, software engineering and real-world applications.

My interests span AI agents, large language models, machine learning and full-stack software development. I particularly enjoy taking ideas from an initial concept through to a working product.

Experience

Contracted AI Engineer

cinnamon.io

2025 – 2026

  • Built AI-powered agentic systems end-to-end
  • Worked across Python, FastAPI, React and PostgreSQL
  • Deployed and maintained cloud infrastructure
Machine Learning Intern

EnsioVision

Aug 2024 - Sep 2024

  • Developed a parameterisable C++ physics machine to simulate forklift pressure dynamics
  • Designed and trained a bespoke neural network in Python using PyTorch, with data from the above physics machine
  • This system enabled real-time weight estimation of pallets during continuous forklift operation
Data Science and Machine Learning Intern

Turnleaf Analytics

Aug 2023 - Sep 2023

  • Used Google's pretrained natural language processor (Gensim word2vec) to build an algorithm that matches phrases, ensuring tickers are not repeated. This produced a success rate of over 90%.
  • Used ARIMA and linear regression as a benchmark to predictions made by different ML models, across different tenors and improving the previous approach a moving momentum
